National Public Safety Telecommunicator's Week 2020
Public Safety can sometimes be a "thankless" industry. Even still, there are those who are often overlooked, even on the front lines. You've probably heard about them.
Frequently referred to as the "Calm Voice in the Dark Night", "The First to Get the Call", "The Golden Glue" these individuals are rarely seen and mostly heard. Like most others in Public Safety, they come in on their days off and hold over when it's time to go home. They dedicate their lives to reassuring panicked citizens on the other end of the phone, sending the right help the first time, and keeping first responders safe and informed. They are there with us from start to finish. Emergency Telecommunicators have your backs when you need them the most.
National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week is April 12-18, 2020 and the SSI team would like to say a special "Thank You" to the dispatchers, call takers, and all telecommunicators that help keep our Public Safety teams and Communities Safe day in and day out.
Next week is your week, but we are ALWAYS grateful for you! Thank you for your service InterOp Dispatchers!
